Mariska Hargitay MARISKA HARGITAY
The National Milk Mustache "got milk?" Campaign is kicking off the Think About Your Drink campaign with an ad featuring acclaimed actress, Mariska Hargitay, and her son August.

"Thinking about your drink is something Americans really need to be cautious of. So many people go on diets and say - I eat really well, but they're not thinking about their drink and that's a part of the problem," says Mariska.

Mariska Hargitay Bio
Mariska Hargitay portrays one of television's most compelling characters: the street-smart, compassionate Detective Olivia Benson on NBC's hit drama, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. Her work has earned her both the 2006 Emmy Award and 2005 Golden Globe for Lead Actress in a Drama Series, as well as two previous Emmy nominations, two SAG Award nominations and a Gracie Allen Award for American Women in Radio and Television.

Hargitay is also known for her recurring role on ER as Dr. Greene's girlfriend Cynthia Hooper in the 1997-98 season and as a cast regular in the sitcom Can't Hurry Love. On the big screen, she has appeared in films such as Lake Placid and Leaving Las Vegas.

Off the screen, Hargitay dedicates her time to the Joyful Heart Foundation, her multi-faceted program committed to the healing and recovery of survivors of sexual assault. She also serves on the boards of Mount Sinai's SAVI program and Safe Horizon. In addition, she has worked with NBC's "The More You Know" campaign and Girl Scouts of the America.

The youngest daughter of megastar Jayne Mansfield and Mickey Hargitay, Mariska splits her time between Los Angeles and New York City, where she lives with her husband, Peter Hermann, and their son, August.

Studies suggest the nutrients in 3 glasses of lowfat or fat free milk a day can help maintain a healthy weight, plus the protein, along with exercise, helps build muscle for a lean body. So eat right, move more and milk your diet. Privacy Policy | Sitemap | Contact Us
